Pulse of the Primary: 2021 NYC Mayor’s Race, is a recurring series of quantitative likely voter surveys providing insights on the Democratic primary election for mayor. Sponsored by Fontas Advisors and Core Decision Analytics (CODA), the three-part poll series takes an independent look at the race as well as key issues on the minds of New York City voters.
New York City is at a crossroads and the election of the new mayor will be a pivotal milestone in our recovery from the pandemic and the resulting economic devastation. Additionally, a renewed spotlight on crime, income inequality, racial justice, and quality of life in the City will give the new mayor no shortage of challenges to overcome, as well as opportunities to make a tangible mark on the city.
Given NYC’s overwhelmingly Democratic makeup, the Democratic primary on June 22nd is likely to determine the outcome of the November general election.
We look forward to sharing our poll results and analysis as the race progresses.
